As COVID-19 continues to spread throughout the world, many businesses are having to rethink their procedures to keep their employees and customers safe. VetIQ Staffing and our clinics are no exception. Together, we are doing everything in our power to keep our relief veterinarians safe. Here are some of the ways VetIQ Staffing is preparing our veterinarians for coronavirus:

Keeping Our Relief Veterinarians Informed

Our 24/7 direct support to our relief veterinarians and veterinary clinics has proven to be more important than ever. Our goal is to keep everyone involved in our services informed with the right information to preventing the spread of coronavirus. We are keeping up to date with the latest information from the CDC and AVMA to educate our relief veterinarians on virus safety.

Keeping Our Partnering Veterinary Clinics Open

With the spread of the novel coronavirus, practicing physicians are urged to stay home at the first sign of sickness. If a physician at your veterinary clinic has called in sick, VetIQ Staffing is here to supply you with the relief veterinarians you need to keep your clinic open. We are currently hiring additional veterinarians to meet the growing demand from clinics.

Temporarily Suspending Our Travel Vet Program

Under the guidance of the CDC and WHO, VetIQ Staffing is temporarily suspending our travel vet program. We want to keep our relief veterinarians as safe as possible, and evidence has shown that traveling can increase chances of contracting coronavirus. Our travel vet program will resume as normal once the safety of our veterinarians can be assured during travel.

If you are looking for work as a relief veterinarian or want to learn more about keeping your veterinary clinic safe, please contact our team at any time.
